The Manifesto:
We believe in the wonder of the worlds.
We believe in joy and delight.
We recognise that the world is often full of danger, and that this does not diminish its beauty.
We see feyness in each heart, and are touched by the faeries.
We honour the Wild within and without, and we care for our world.
We pledge to live life as fully as we can.
We choose to share our Delight in the world!
Do you dance in the realm of Delight?
In sunlit day and darkened night?
Do you dance in your heart with the Fey?
Have the offered to take you away?
This is a call for submissions for a new game, a zine of faery delights. Poems and pictures, stories and thoughts, recipes, spells, meditations, experiences, inspirations… we have space for all kinds of encounters.
I will be judging the submissions based on beauty, interestingness and how well crafted they are… including those that seem to me to fit the ethos of the Feyhearted Manifesto. If you have something you’d like to share, please send it in!
All submissions must be emailed to feyzine@haloquin.com with ’submission’ in the subject line, followed by the name/title of the piece.
You are welcome to submit more than one item, but please send each one attached to a seperate email.
The email must include your name, a contact email address, and any information you’d like to share about your piece or yourself.
The Deadline is for April the 18th 2010, for publication on May the 1st, just in time for Beltane!
The Zine will be most likely online, though paper copies may happen. I do not foresee any monetary gains from this, the aim is, rather, to spread delight, bright and dark and a the shadows in between!
Only send stuff you have created and have not promised elsewhere, in short, don’t submit things you shouldn’t! This zine will be copylefted, and so free to copy, share and play with freely, as long as credit is given. If you have a problem with copyleft, please do not submit.
In honour of the Feyheart of Delight,
~Halo
