Today

Since I am going to Tuscany this summer - Mum's friend has offered us the use of her villa for two weeks - I thought I should learn some Italian. Hence 'Earworms'! Italian phrases said repeatedly over rythmic music so that it sticks in your head like a song you can't get rid of. Its odd to find yourself singing "can I rent a car please"

I have to stop it in a minute and get this last Heidegger essay started. Its due Wednesday, and I think I'm gonna work on this one;

"Discuss Heidegger's dictum that the 'scandal to philosophy and to human reason in general is not, as Kant maintained, the lack of proof of the existence of an external world, but rather the fact that such a proof continues to be sought at all."

Later I shall write about my trip to Scotland. Mmmmm.
